Launch of the FUTURE-V3+UA Project

The international project Future Workforce in V3 and Ukraine – Intergenerational Expectations and Workplace Values is currently entering its preparatory phase ahead of the official project implementation starting on 1 September 2026.

At this stage, partner institutions from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Ukraine are carrying out initial coordination activities, communication planning, and preparations for the upcoming research and dissemination activities.

The project aims to explore how young people perceive work, what they expect from future employers, and which workplace values are becoming increasingly important for the new generation entering the labour market.

Supported by the International Visegrad Fund, the project focuses on strengthening international cooperation, sharing knowledge, and developing recommendations for universities, employers, and policymakers.

Comparative Research

The project combines quantitative and qualitative research focused on the expectations and workplace values of young people entering the labour market. Questionnaire surveys will be conducted among university students in participating countries, complemented by interviews and consultations with employers, HR specialists, and university career centres.

Comparative Monograph

Project findings will be published in an open-access comparative monograph focused on education–labour market alignment in the V3 region and Ukraine. The publication will include practical recommendations for universities, employers, career centres, and regional stakeholders.

International Workshop

An international multi-stakeholder workshop organised in the Czech Republic will create space for discussion among academic institutions, employers, and labour-market representatives. The workshop will support the exchange of experiences, interpretation of findings, and sharing of good practices across participating countries.

Methodical Recommendations

Based on the research results, the project will develop concise practice-oriented recommendations aimed at improving study programmes, career guidance, recruitment practices, and graduates’ transition from education to the labour market. Recommendations will also be available in national languages to support wider dissemination and practical use.
