FUTURE-V3+UA

Future Workforce in V3 and Ukraine – Intergenerational Expectations and Workplace Values

The FUTURE-V3+UA project focuses on the changing expectations, values, and attitudes of young people entering the labour market in the Visegrad region and Ukraine. Rapid social, technological, and economic changes are transforming how new generations perceive work, career development, workplace relationships, and organisational culture.

The project brings together partner institutions from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Ukraine with the aim of exploring intergenerational differences in work-related expectations and identifying key workplace values that shape the future workforce.

Through international cooperation and comparative research, the project seeks to better understand topics such as:

  • expectations towards employers and working conditions,
  • work-life balance and flexibility,
  • meaningful work and personal fulfilment,
  • ethics and responsibility in the workplace,
  • communication and intergenerational cooperation,
  • and the impact of social and technological changes on work values.

The project combines research activities, academic collaboration, dissemination, and public engagement. Its outputs will contribute to discussions on the future of work and provide practical recommendations for universities, employers, and policymakers.

The official implementation period of the project begins on 1 September 2026. Prior to this date, partner institutions are carrying out preparatory and coordination activities related to the project launch, communication strategy, and research planning.

The project is supported by the International Visegrad Fund.
