The Academic Senate of the Faculty of Economics at the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice (AS EF JU) has announced an election to select a candidate for the position of dean for the term from March 1, 2027, to February 28, 2031.
Every member of the EF JU academic community (faculty and students) has the right to nominate candidates.
Important milestones and election schedule:
by November 30, 2026 – deadline for submitting candidate nominations. Nominations must be submitted electronically using the “Nomination Form” to the email address of the Chair of the Academic Senate of the Faculty of Economics, University of South Bohemia, JUDr. Ing. December 4, 2026 – Publication of the list of candidates.
By December 10, 2026 – Deadline for members of the academic community to submit written comments on individual candidates via email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
December 14, 2026 – Publication of candidates’ materials (professional CVs and proposals for the management and development of the Faculty of Economics, University of South Bohemia) on the Faculty of Economics Academic Senate website.
December 16, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. – Public presentation of candidates in the University of South Bohemia Auditorium. Each candidate will present their vision for the management and development of the faculty, followed by a question-and-answer session with the public. A dean’s day off will be announced for this event.
December 18, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. – Meeting of the Academic Senate of the Faculty of Economics, University of South Bohemia, followed by a secret ballot to elect the candidate for the position of dean.
