Guaranteed doctoral scholarship:
The amount of the guaranteed doctoral scholarship is determined as follows:
a) if the student's doctoral study income within the meaning of Section 91a(1) of the Act consists only of a doctoral scholarship, the doctoral scholarship is
awarded in the amount of the minimum monthly wage multiplied by a coefficient of 1.2 and then rounded up to the nearest ten CZK,
b) if the student's doctoral study income within the meaning of § 91a(1) of the Act consists of a combination of the monthly salary agreed for work in which the student, as an employee of USB or a cooperating entity of the employer, performs creative activities related to the development of his or her dissertation in an employment relationship, and the doctoral scholarship, the doctoral scholarship is awarded so that the sum of two-thirds of the monthly salary and the full amount of the doctoral scholarship is not less than the minimum monthly salary multiplied by a coefficient of 1.2 and then rounded up to the nearest ten CZK.
The proceedings concerning a guaranteed doctoral scholarship is initiated by the receipt of the student's application to the Dean; it includes a sworn statement
concerning all previous and concurrent doctoral studies; this does not apply to applications submitted after at least four months have elapsed from the date of enrolment. Proceedings may also be initiated ex officio in the matter of a reduction, increase, or withdrawal of a doctoral scholarship.
