What is real wealth? Is it money, treasures… or something completely different? The day camp at the Faculty of Economics, University of South Bohemia, will take children on an adventurous journey to discover different forms of wealth—from friendship, joy, and health to the worlds of finance, nature, and knowledge.
Throughout the week, children will experience a wide range of playful and educational activities, including this year’s new feature—a block of activities in English. They will learn to discover their strengths, take part in team quizzes on sustainability, become language detectives, and explore world cuisines. They can look forward to games, puzzles, a treasure hunt, working with their own “map of wealth,” and fun activities developing logic, creativity, and teamwork.
The program also includes a full-day trip to the Trocnov archaeological open-air museum, a visit to a chemistry lab and a virtual reality classroom, a tour of a fire station, and an interactive exhibition offering a new perspective on the lives of people with disabilities.
The camp shows children that wealth has many forms—and that the most valuable things are often not in our wallets, but within us.
The day camp is intended for children aged 7–12.
Price: 3,300 CZK
The price includes the program, entrance fees, and full-day meals including drinks. Payment must be made by June 30, 2026.

Monday: Wealth Within and Around Us
We begin by exploring the most valuable kind of wealth—the one we carry within ourselves. Through playful activities, children will realize that joy, relationships, peace, and health often matter more than material things. They will learn to work with their emotions, create their own “secret tools” for handling challenging situations, and understand that true value comes from balance and self-care.
Later in the morning, we will focus on the world around us—natural, social, and economic values—and show why it is important to treat them responsibly and sustainably. Through quizzes and team challenges, children will explore consumption and the impact of everyday decisions.
The afternoon will be spent outdoors with team games and activities that support cooperation, friendship, and the joy of movement.
Tuesday: A Journey Through the Story of Values
We will take a full-day trip to the Trocnov archaeological open-air museum, following the footsteps of history and discovering what shaped the lives of our ancestors. A day in nature will bring new knowledge and shared experiences that will become unforgettable highlights of the week.
Wednesday: The Wealth of the World and Cultures
On Wednesday, we set off on a journey around the world. Children will engage in language games and, through tablet challenges and memory games, discover historical landmarks, global cuisines, and regional specialties while exploring cultural diversity.
Part of the program includes the game Coffee Heroes, where children take on the role of coffee growers in Latin America. They will practice decision-making, planning, and handling unexpected situations, while learning about cooperation and responsible approaches to nature and business in line with Fairtrade principles.
In another block, children will expand their English vocabulary in a fun way. They will take part in a treasure hunt and create their own map of what truly matters to them. At the end, they will receive an English Explorer certificate.
In the afternoon, we will explore science with a visit to a virtual reality classroom and a laboratory at the Faculty of Science, where children will learn how to inflate a balloon without blowing, build a vitamin-powered rocket, release a “spirit” from a flask, and uncover messages written in invisible ink.
Thursday: The Wealth of Life and Empathy
In the morning, we will visit a fire station, where children will learn about courage, cooperation, and helping others.
In the afternoon, they will take part in the interactive exhibition People Next Door at the South Bohemian Museum. Through hands-on experiences, they will better understand the challenges faced by people with disabilities and recognize the importance of respect, empathy, and mutual support.
Friday: Wealth as Knowledge and Adventure
At the end of the week, we will focus on finance and money management. Children will learn where wealth comes from, what it takes to maintain it, and that wealth is not just about money, but also about decisions, responsibility, and knowledge.
The program will conclude with an adventurous game, Treasure Hunt through Codes, where children will use logic, teamwork, and creativity to uncover the hidden treasure.
