The Main Election Committee, in accordance with Article 4(2) of the Election Rules of the Academic Senate of the University of South Bohemia, has set the election date for the Academic Senate of USB as follows:
from November 24, 2025, 8:00 a.m. to November 25, 2025, 4:00 p.m.

The by-elections will take place only at the Faculty of Economics.
Number of senators to be elected: 1 senator (student) ➡️ each voter has 1 vote.

Information regarding the by-elections will be published:
➡️ on the official notice board and the website of the University in the Academic Senate section,
➡️ on the official notice board and the website of the Faculty of Economics.

The by-elections will be held electronically at volby.jcu.cz.
Based on an agreement between the Main Election Committee and the Local Election Committee, voters will also be informed by e-mail before the elections about the procedure for:
➡️ nominating candidates (Article 7 of the Election Rules of the Academic Senate of USB),
➡️ voting (Article 9 of the Election Rules of the Academic Senate of USB).

Notice:
Voters may submit a complaint to the Main Election Committee concerning the preparation, conduct, or results of the elections no later than seven days after the publication of the election results.
The complaint must be in writing and duly justified. The Main Election Committee will assess the validity of the election within ten days from the date the complaint is received.
The decision of the Main Election Committee is final. The text of the complaint and the committee’s decision, including the reasoning, must be published on the University’s website.
