Chinese Language by Pinyin

This course is specially intended for adults who are interested in Chinese Language and culture but with little or no foundation. The Chinese language will be studied mainly in Pinyin instead of Characters, the teaching and practising will be conducted in English. And, for the time being, the most frequently used Chinese will be covered, in order to enable the participants to do everyday conversation in it.

Course Objectives:
By the end of a 8-week course, the participants will be able to:

• Build up a vocabulary of approximately 50 words by pinyin
• Master 15 Chinese sentences for everyday conversations
• Be familiar with the way to learn Chinese language by pinyin
• Have a rough idea about the traditional Chinese culture
• Establish an interest to learn Chinese language and culture

Class timing and duration: March 18 – May 13, 2019 8 blocks per 90 minutes
Classes from 16:30 p.m. to 18:00 p.m. on Monday.
